Michal and Joannas career started at full speed.
Despite the fact that they danced together for such a short time they reached
the top very soon. They practically shoot to the top straight away! Thats how
Michael and Joanna describe their beginnings. They dance barely a year together
and are already the World Latin-American Showdance champions and at the
Blackpool Festival got to the final round in one dance, the Rumba.
Yes, they were the finalists in Blackpool! An enormous achievement they,
knowing Joanna, without any doubt have worked very hard for. In Blackpool,
directly at the beginning of the final, it was already announced which couples
were selected for the cha cha and the samba. All their hope was gone!
They knew, that these other 6 couples, which they competed against in the
semi-final, also danced their best to make it! And suddenly they were called
for the Rumba final - yes!. "When your number is recalled you just go totally
mad. Nothing is more important, nothing else interests you, its just you and
the dancefloor. The audience goes crazy, others congratulate you but you
must go out there and do the best Rumba and this is what is on your mind!".
"With a pulse of at least 600 beats per minute your body, your mind gives
everything for it........!"
|
"It was great " according to Michal and Joanna.
Joanna went through the same emotions previously with two other partners in
Blackpool. And this year Joanna with the new partner straight from
Amateurs get immediately to the final.
They truly have an enormous potential!
